We are a small not for profit local charity in the New Forest based in New Milton since 1969 and are looking for a fresh outlook and input of ideas from a new Trustee. If you have a few hours spare to volunteer your time as a Trustee, we would love to hear from you. Whether you are a parent or keen individual with a business, financial, PR, Marketing or carer background within the field of learning disabilities this is for you. We run three social and leisure clubs for adults with Learning difficulties in term time and run a charity shop in New Milton. We are affiliated to Royal Mencap but receive no funding from them and are therefore autonomous in all our fundraising activities and community events that we run. We have a Trustee Executive Committee Meeting every 2-3 months from 7.15-9.15pm at the Nedderman Centre to discuss plans, activities within the Charity. If you would like to get involved please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
*New Forest based volunteers only please*
