Volunteers will be able to provide assistance from reception to the pontoon if required
Welcome the sailor and career onto the pontoon and introduce them to the dinghy skipper
Ensure that the Buoyancy Aid is fitted correctly
Assist the sailor to access the dinghy. If this requires the use of a hoist this will require 2 Shore Crew to complete.
Maintain radio contact with Reception.
Record times that the dinghies are sailing.
At the start of the day check, rig and launch the dinghies and have them ready on the pontoon to receive sailors.
At the end of the session store the dinghies in the yard.
Volunteers will receive training for all of the above tasks.
