Our network of over 400 retail stores represents the charity in many communities and on numerous high-streets and retail parks across the UK. Our shop teams are the friendly faces of our stores. They are made up of staff and volunteers who undertake equally important roles.
What you will do:
As a Sue Ryder Shop Volunteer you will have the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the day to day running of the store including, but not limited to:-
- Sorting and pricing stock
- Stock replenishment
- General customer service
- Till work
- Window dressing
If cleaning is your favourite thing to do, we also have opportunities to help keep our stores safe and hygienic.
Skills
You don’t need any experience to join us as a volunteer you just need to be willing and helpful with a flexible and enthusiastic approach.
In return for your enthusiasm, you will have the opportunity to be part of a wonderful team, gain new skills and experience, and most importantly contribute towards making a difference to our service users and their families.
Sue Ryder places huge value on the diversity that we have within our team of volunteers and supporters. If you are concerned that your skills or abilities might not fit with the role that we have described please let us know in your registration of interest.
