We are looking for volunteers to pair up with someone in their local area that has dementia and/or their family carer to go for a regular Walk & Talk.
Frequency and walk duration to be agreed between the walk buddies.
We need Walk & Talk Buddies across the whole of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Skills
This role would suit anyone that is kind and caring and enjoys helping others, and enjoys walking.
Lived experience of dementia through caring for a loved one would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
