FATN Talking News, based in Farnham, provides high quality recordings of local newspapers for the visually impaired. The recordings are produced on memory sticks, which are played on a dedicated playback unit, all provided completely free of charge. Our organisation relies totally on gifts, donations and fundraising for finance. We require an enthusiastic, interested and dedicated person to develop our fundraising profile and opportunities. You would either attend, or report to, a morning Committee meeting every other month. You may need to attend occasional fundraising events in East Hampshire, and West Surrey.
Good communication skills.
Previous charity fundraising experience would be useful, but not essential.
Self confidence in approaching local businesses and organisations important.
