FATN Talking News, based in Farnham, provides high quality recordings of local newspapers for the visually impaired. The recordings are delivered online, through Smart Speakers or onto memory sticks, which are played on a dedicated playback unit, provided free of charge. Our organisation relies totally on gifts, donations and fundraising for finance. We require an enthusiastic, interested and dedicated person to develop our fundraising profile and opportunities. You would either attend, or report to, a morning Committee meeting every other month. You may need to attend occasional fundraising events in East Hampshire, and West Surrey.
Skills
We require an enthusiastic, self-confident, dedicated person able to work on their own initiative. They should have lots of ideas for different fundraising opportunities. They should enjoy mixing with people and be prepared to approach the public and businesses for possible financial support.
