Could you drive our minibus? We are in need of volunteer minibus drivers to drive once or twice a month. We provide much needed transport to our lunch club on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and transport into town on Wednesday and Friday mornings. This enables many isolated older people to get out and about.
Most drivers pick one of these runs and drive every 3-4 weeks so it is not too onerous. We also have a programme of spring and summer outings where you could volunteer to drive for some of these too.
Our passengers are so appreciative of this service. We would provide a full induction and MIDAS training.
You would need to have a good standard of driving, and a friendly and helpful approach.
