Would you like to be a school governor?
School governance is an exciting and unique opportunity to become involved in the local community. As a member of a governing body you will meet interesting new people, develop your skills, widen your experiences and ultimately influence the education of children. No specific skills are required to volunteer, you just need enthusiasm, time, life experience and a desire to make a difference. Governors work in a team with the headteacher and collectively make decisions on essential matters such as development, spending and staffing.
To be discussed with the governing body that has the vacancy.
