Simon Says run monthly support groups give bereaved children the opportunity to meet others in the same situations as themselves, to play and do activities/craft projects, having the opportunity to talk with trained volunteers, where they are helped to explore those emotions that are a result of grief and loss. Support groups are offered for children/young people to the age of 18yrs. Offering presentations to schools and organisations, supporting schools/staff and pupils Support line.
We would like volunteers to help us promote the work we do by giving talks and presentations to groups, clubs or anyone who is dealing with bereaved children. Full training and support will be given. We are also looking for volunteers to attend schools to offer support for staff and pupils and presentations.
Opportunities are available at various locations across Hampshire.
