As a Tea Party Host, you will run a local Re-Engage Tea Party, one or two times a year.
Tea Parties are usually held once a month on a Sunday.
Volunteers need to be 18 or older.
Skills
Tea Party Hosts will run a Re-Engage Tea Party and provide tea and cakes at their homes to a group of 5 or 6 older people once or twice a year on a Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours.

Re-engage has Public Liability insurance, however, this will not cover your home for any damage that may occur. Although it is rare for damage to happen at a tea party, we recommend you inform your insurance company that you are hosting these events and add accidental damage cover to your contents insurance before hosting your first tea party. All external venues need to have public liability in place and once you have checked they have this, you will need to submit a declaration as confirmation. Before you start as a volunteer driver, please check that you are covered by your regular motor insurance policy to do this role. During the annual check you will be asked to sign a driver declaration to confirm that you have told your insurance company of your volunteer driving. - Written role description
