Join our friendly team in Fareham
Looking to give back, meet new people, and gain some great experience along the way? Come and volunteer at Autism Hampshire’s charity shop in Fareham - where every shift helps make a real difference in your community.
Whether you’re a people person, love a good rummage through donations, or just want to lend a hand, we’d love to welcome you.
Some options of what you might be doing:
- Chatting with customers and donors – helping them feel welcome and appreciated.
- Sorting and pricing donations – keeping our shop floor looking fresh and inviting.
- Creating online listings – help us list special items on platforms like eBay to raise even more for our cause (don’t worry, we’ll show you how!).
- Using the till – don’t worry, we’ll show you how!
- Tidying and restocking – making sure everything’s clean, organised, and easy to browse.
What we’re looking for:
- A friendly face who enjoys helping others.
- Someone who’s happy to be part of a supportive team.
- Reliable and ready to get stuck in - even if it’s just a few hours a week.
What you’ll get out of it:
- Give back and feel great doing it – volunteering is fun, social, and incredibly rewarding.
- New skills – great for your CV, confidence, or even a career in retail.
- Flexibility – we’ll work around your schedule.
- Perks – 25% off donated goods and travel expenses covered (within reason).
- Support – we’re happy to provide references for future employers.
