We need a keen and capable website editor to take care of our platform.
The site has been re-designed in the past couple of years, and we'd love someone to help build on that, maintain good content and to take things forward.
We regularly need:
.... old material to be archived
.... new material to be added
.... ideas for enhancing and developing the site, with interest in following up
.... checking (about once a week) to ensure the site remains up to date.
We love cricket! Especially helping to ensure children and young people can play as often as possible. The website is for information and attracting new people to play and enjoy the game! We'd be more than happy to hear from younger volunteers too, those 16 plus who would be interested in helping.
We also have a Play-Cricket site: Winchester Warriors Junior Cricket Association (play-cricket.com)
The ability to work online with a straightforward website.
The enthusiasm to make the site attractive.
An understanding of cricket, and especially junior cricket.
Some knowledge/understanding of the ‘back office’ of websites and WordPress.
Good communication skills, especially by email/text and by phone.
The ability to work with Winchester Warriors Committee Members and organisers of junior cricket in member clubs: we’re friendly and good fun!
