To assist with providing activities for the patients whilst on the Older persons rehabilitation ward, this could be anything from general chat to playing skittles. This also expands to when the patient returns home, we would like to continue support for a period of time to ensure they are coping and signpost them to various organisations as necessary. Volunteers are supported at all times by a named Co-Ordinator. Volunteers could be entirely hospital based, supporting patients at home or a mix of both. Most patients homes are in Petersfield, Havant, Liss, Emsworth areas. Any costs incurred by Volunteers will be reimbursed.
Patience, no other particular skills needed. Volunteers should enjoy spending time with Older persons.
