We are seeking a treasurer to joint are team of trustees.
Who are Simon Says?
Simon Says provides support for bereaved children up to the age of 18 at our monthly support groups. Our groups provide an opportunity for children and young people to spend time with others who have had similar experiences. Groups are themed and activities/group work sessions are organised by our volunteers.
- Oversee the financial affairs of the Charity and ensure we are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practice.
- Ensure proper records are kept and that effective financial procedures are in place.
- Monitor and report on the financial health of the organisation.
- Oversee the
production of necessary financial reports/returns, accounts and audits.
Knowledge and experience of current and fundraising finance practice relevant to the Charity.
Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial management (as necessary).
Good financial analysis skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and work with a small team.

When can I volunteer?
Start Date: 03/03/2015
End Date: 30/09/2020
Ideally you would be able to offer a minimum of 4 hours a week. In addition, we have 4 Trustee meetings a year and an Annual General Meeting. We are currently reviewing our financial management and controls with a view to establishing a further bookkeeping role to include PAYE. If you would like more details send a request below.
