Trustee with Marketing or Fundraising experience

To extend the range of expertise in its Board of Trustees, Cardiac Rehab is seeking to recruit a Trustee with experience at management level in Marketing, either print or digital, with some fundraising experience.

As a member of the Board of Trustees you will advise the Board and the Chief Executive Officer on its strategy to engage with local, regional and national specialist media, both print and digital to maximise the opportunities to raise awareness of Cardiac Rehab.  You will also advise on effective use of social media to engage with existing and new supporters and ensuring best use is made of the unique selling points of the Cardiac Rehab service to meet our charitable objectives in healthcare.

The Board of Trustees intends to maximise the use of social and other media to reach a wider audience and demographic using channels specific to the exerciser and healthcare profession and business world in addition to the public living in Hampshire and Surrey.

You will want to help find new ways of engaging more people in our important work to ensure we gain the funding from individuals, local and regional organisations and grant making bodies to ensure the continuation and expansion of our service.

You will have creative and digital skills and be a good wordsmith.
