Trade Stands Secretary

Ellingham and Ringwood Agriculture Society raises thousands of pounds for charities and supports their activities through its annual Show.

You will let trade stand space to organisations for the Society's Annual Show (in August each year). This is one of the Show's biggest income earners.

Interact with retailers big and small, charities and good causes to let space for their trade stands.

Set out the trading areas on the Showground and ensure the smooth running of these areas on Show Day.

Trade stand space sells out each year so no hard selling is required, but judgement is required about which companies should attend to present an interesting selection to the public who pay to attend the Show.

Initially work with current Trade Stand Secretary to learn the role. This role could suit an individual or a couple.

Skills

You should be confident and at ease when dealing with a range of people.

You should also have good organisational skills.
