We are looking for volunteers from Hampshire who would like to support HANTSAR by assisting with fundraising and attending/helping to organise events. We also welcome applications from those who may be able to support us in some other way, e.g. with vehicle maintenance, first aid training, public relations, etc.
If you have a particular skills that you think could benefit HANTSAR then this could also be the opportunity for you.
HANTSAR is one of many county based Lowland Search and Rescue units which exist countrywide.
HANTSAR provide highly trained volunteers to assist the police to locate missing vulnerable people in Hampshire.
We are called out by the police to search for missing vulnerable people at any time of the day or night and in all weathers.
Volunteers are required throughout Hampshire.
HANTSAR members can come from any walk of life. It does not matter what you do, but rather who you are. The spirit of search and rescue is the driving force.
DBS checks will be required.
Minimum age 18 years.
