Social Club Helper

Fareham Macular Group is a long established social group which supports people with visual impairment (AMD).  We are looking for people to help out at our Support & Social Group which meets on the second Monday of every Month at the United Reform Church in central Fareham.

The group provides a welcoming and friendly space for elderly people with AMD and provides refreshments and entertainment.  Activities include guest speakers who present on topics of interest, musical entertainment and presentations by other local support groups.

Helpers arrive at 12.30pm to set up the room.  The session takes place between 1-3 pm and helpers will assist with serving hot drinks, sandwiches and biscuits during the meeting, hosting a table and then clearing away after the session.  Free on-site parking is available.

This role would suit anyone that is kind, friendly, caring and enjoys helping others.
