Sighted Guide

Would you like to support someone living with sight-loss in your neighbourhood on their mobility journey? My Guide could be just right for you!

Our My Guide volunteers help someone with sight loss in their community to get out and about more with the volunteers' sighted guiding assistance. All our volunteers will be able to learn how to sighted guide someone with sight loss, whilst maintaining dignity and enabling independence. This is a flexible and rewarding opportunity to help someone which will take around 2-3 hours a week to be agreed by both parties.

A full role description is available on request.
