Do you want to learn more about the benefits of tree planting? Would you like to nurture and grow more trees for the local area? Do you care about the future of our planet?
If so, this opportunity is for you.
We are looking for motivated young people aged 13+ who go to Ringwood Schools and want to understand more about our Green Planet at the same time as getting involved in local plantings and helping at the Community Tree Nursery. Our Trees Champions will not only get involved practically, they will also be equipped with information that they can share with fellow students.
Ideally, we are seeking 5 young volunteers to work together with our existing Trees team, representing the voice of the future generation and helping us to engage more young people.
You would be expected to spend 2 hours a month helping practically with tree planting and nurturing plus another 1 hour a month engaging others in the importance and value or our trees and hedgerows.
