Working from home using your own PC, a volunteer role to co-ordinate with other volunteers and subcontractors the monitoring and reporting on the status of our projects. To establish new potential projects using our processes and to assist the project leaders. To suggest improvements to our processes.
Although this work will be mainly performed in your home, there will be many opportunities to visit the pier and the Hythe Shed (at the pier) to understand project’s status. Both locations are accessible.
Our objectives are to secure the long-term future of the pier and its historic railway. We are actioning the first of a series of projects to protect, preserve, restore and redevelop the pier, associated buildings and the unique pier railway for community benefit.
Existing experience of project management techniques.
Experience in use of ProjectLibre or MS Project software, LibreOffice or MS Office software.
Good communications skills.
