Plastic Free Ringwood – Community Leader

Does plastic waste annoy you? Do you care about the future of our planet? Would you like to reduce the amount of single-use plastic and help others to reduce their use too?

If so, this opportunity is for you.

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter who is willing to take over the role of Community Leader.  We already have Plastic Free accreditation so this role is about working with the Steering Group to take it to the next level.

Working with the Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free resources we will help to equip you to engage the community and local businesses in creative ways and to provide information and tips that can be used both in organisations and at home.

You would be expected to spend 2-3 hours a week planning and delivering a range of activities and events that spread the word and encourage others to take action.

Good organisational skills.

Ability to engage people.
