Havant and East Hants Mind are currently recruiting volunteers for the role of Peer Supporter within our Adults Wellbeing Team. As a Peer Supporter, you will be using your own experiences of mental health issues to support, encourage and inspire other people experiencing a mental health issue.
The role involves supporting our wellbeing team by helping to run our weekly peer support groups. The role involves many other key responsibilities to be undertaken in order to utilise and develop your pre-existing skills to support our wellbeing team.
We currently have opportunities in both Havant and East Hampshire (Alton, Bordon and Petersfield.)
Individual tasks, duties, skills and hours should be discussed with Abbie (Havant) or Isabella (East Hampshire).
