We need a keen supporter to be our Meetings Secretary please!
We have 4 committee meetings and 3 clubs meetings each year and we need some help. The role involves convening those meetings, circulating agendas, minutes and sometimes other papers, and writing up the minutes from the committee meetings.
You would be a committee member which means you're joining a group of keen cricket supporters and you can help influence what we do and how we run things.
We provide cricket competitions, support and advice for the junior sections of 25 member clubs. We cover the central Hampshire area from Andover to Hedge End and Broughton to Ropley, with Guest Members from outside our main area.
There's lots of info on our website, although some of that needs updating, so we're looking for a website editor as well!
All of what we do is designed to improve and develop opportunities for children and young people to play and enjoy cricket. We know they learn lots of life skills through cricket.
We're very happy to adjust the role to suit the skills and time available. Best to email us and then we can have a chat about what you would like to do.
Based at home for the admin part of the role, there's other activities you could contribute to, like visiting league matches and knockout cup competitions, and the annual presentation evening. Overall this role would take an average of perhaps an hour or two a week, with almost all the times determined by you!
An interest in cricket would be an advantage! Or just a curiosity!
