We would welcome an enthusiastic person to join our small and friendly team at our Community Crafting Hub located in Central Fareham. The Crafty Makery offers an opportunity to use arts and crafts as a way to bring people together. Our Crafting Hub offers a vast array of activities including knitting, sewing, paper crafts and ceramics to suit people of all ages.
The aim is to help people deliver arts and crafts in a friendly and safe environment.
The role would involve:
- Welcoming customers on arrival and explaining crafts.
- Helping and talking to customers.
- Making refreshments.
- Clearing and tidying crafting areas when required.
Skills
We would welcome friendly and reliable people willing to engage with all members of the community who make up our customer base.
Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and meet new people are more important to us than crafting experience as we are willing to train and nurture.
