The Co-ordinator's role will be:-
- to receive requests from people in need and then to phone round a list of volunteers to find a person to assist.
- to maintain a record of requests and accurate records of clients' details and volunteer availability.
You will be part of an active and supportive team whose whole aim is the wellbeing of the elderly and those in need of support in our community.
The Co-ordinator will have the use of a contract mobile phone to be able to carry out their duties from home. This is paid for by Havant Good Neighbours.
They will be expected to attend bi-monthly meetings either virtually or in person depending on circumstances.
Skills
A good, sensitive telephone manner with friendly and humorous nature.
Being computer literate an advantage but not essential.
