Hosts are required to provide tea and cakes at their homes to a group of 5 or 6 older people once a year on a Sunday afternoon between 3 and 5pm.
Drivers are required once or twice a year to take 2 or 3 guests to and from the venue for the tea party. It is hoped that the driver will remain with the group to participate in the afternoon tea and chat and to assist the host if necessary.
