Crimestoppers Hampshire (and IoW) are looking for highly organised person who can help us raise the funds necessary to increase awareness of Crimestoppers county wide.
To become a Fundraiser for Crimestoppers you will need to have excellent communications skills and the enthusiasm to drum up support for our charity.
We primarily use Fundraisers to increase the contributions of individuals and groups to our charity by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities from various sources. You could be writing a bid to a trust or grant funding organisation, seeking support from a local business, working with major donors, planning a fundraising event or even taking part in a challenge event yourself.
Skills
The ability to network is paramount for this role, since success in the role depends heavily on being able to forge positive relationships with supporters and funding organisations. Fundraisers also work to raise awareness of the charity's work, aims and goals.
