As a charitable community benefits society, HPHA is seeking an enthusiastic person to co-ordinate our fundraising events throughout the year. If you share the passion of our 70 active volunteers, to preserve, protect and redevelop Hythe pier and relish the idea of organising and delivering community events, this may be the role for you. We have an urgent need for someone who is willing to take on the planning, organising and coordination of the latter. These consist of three main community events over the course of the year,'Spring into Action’, ‘Rock the Pier’, 'Hythe Pier Heritage Day’. We also have ‘pop -up’ information stalls with fundraising activities at various local events e.g. Hythe Fete, Marina Seafood Festival as well as a presence at the Hythe Mistletoe Fayre. We already have blueprints for these events so there would be a structure to work from. Of course, there is always room for innovation and we are looking for someone who is happy to take these ideas forward and perhaps develop them in different ways. Or think of new ones!
Above all we want to keep the 'fun' in fundraising.
