Administrator

You will be working closely to support the Directors of New Forest Homes for Ukraine CIC.

The role includes:

• Taking minutes and noting decisions and actions at our weekly (Tuesday morning) meeting.
• Collating the agenda for this meeting.
• Administering the training record for our team of volunteers (safeguarding and other courses).
• Keeping a record of NFHU volunteers’ DBS checks.
• Supporting occasional welfare events – contacting attendees, arranging venue.

The role requires attendance at our weekly meeting (normally at a café or one of the Directors’ homes in the Lymington/Brockenhurst area) with other tasks carried out from home.

Volunteer Outcomes:

• Play an important part in supporting Ukrainian refugees in the New Forest.
• Help our relatively recently formed organisation deliver its objectives and cope with growing demand.
• Build your network of local contacts.
• Be a valued part of our small, friendly team.

Skills

We are looking for a Volunteer Administrator with attention to detail who enjoys keeping things organised.

Confident to talk to new people on the phone and by email, experience of MS Word and MS Excel is required.

You may have worked as a PA, Parish Clerk, Office Administrator or have experience leading a team.
