Community First’s Transport services are designed to make it easier for people to go shopping, access all the facilities of their local town and visit friends and family.
We offer and manage bookable minibus services, Dial-a-Ride and Call & Go, in various locations across Hampshire for anyone whose access needs are not met by public transport services.
Our services are designed to be accessible for everyone so you do not need to be registered disabled or use mobility aids to be eligible.
We're currently looking for a voluteer who can support staff to deliver safe transport for Call & Go service users throughout the New Forest. This would primarily be by maintaining accurate records, communicating with customers, promoting the service and helping to ensure compliance and risk assessment.
Ideally you will:
- Enjoy speaking and helping those most in need of support in the community.
- Have a good local knowledge of the New Forest area.
- Have an ability or willingness to learn to use a bespoke software package (training will be given).
- Be able to give a small, regular time commitment each week (this can be flexible).
If you would like more information or to apply please get in touch by expressing an interest in this role. We'd love to hear from you.
