About the opportunity
A volunteer role to support the residents to have fun, enjoy meaningful moments of engagement and to make the most of opportunities that are offered to them within our Brendoncare Homes.
You may support with activities at Brendoncare home organised by the Activities Coordinator or facilitate the running of a group to ensure that residents are offered new opportunities and can benefit from activities in the best possible way.
Volunteering with Brendoncare can be undertaken at any agreed time between a volunteer and the Home Manager or Activity Coordinator. We do ask volunteers to make a regular commitment so that the residents and staff have the opportunity to develop a relationship.
Brendoncare is a registered charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life for older people through our care homes, close care facilities and social clubs across the South of England.
We have 10 care homes centres across the south of England, each with its own distinctive personality. Our care homes provide a wide spectrum of services, according to location, including nursing care, care at the end of life, intermediate care (rehabilitation services), specialist dementia care, residential care and respite care.
