“Our mental health doesn’t always stay the same. It can change as our circumstances change and through different stages of our lives. Sadly, the stigma surrounding mental health means people don’t feel comfortable asking for help and often due to our level of understanding, we don’t feel that we can help our families, friends, and colleagues when we need it.”
At our upcoming mental health awareness event, which coincides with World Suicide Prevention Day, you can learn about the tools, activities, and services available to us for taking care of our mental health.
- Come and chat to mental health providers such as Samaritans, Mind, iTalk, Parkway, Off The Record, and Richmond Fellowship
- Find out about well-being activities such as quilting, jewellery making, arts, reflexology and much more…
- Free admission – all are welcome
- Free tea, coffee and cake
