Can ‘We’ Help: Exploring Volunteers Motivations and Experiences

30 August 2017

Community First is partnering with the University of Winchester to facilitate a study exploring and understanding peoples reasons for volunteering.

We are trying to find out more about the reasons why people decide to take up volunteering, and about their experiences once they do so. As part of the study we are particularly interested in looking at how volunteering can help people through a sense of group or community belonging, and how this impacts on how and why people think that volunteering works.

We believe this study will help us better understand how we support volunteers which will help us build more sustainable models of volunteering.

Can you help?

Community First are supporting this study by recruiting volunteers to participate, as a volunteer we need your help.

What will I need to do?

If you agree to take part in the study, you will be invited to take part in a one on one interview. This interview will take up to 60 minutes to complete and can be done in a setting of your choice including, face to face, over the phone or online via Skype etc.

If you would like to help by taking part please complete the short form via the link below.
