Friends of the Family has been chosen as TSB’s new Local Charity Partner in Winchester. To kick start the partnership TSB presented Friends of the Family with a cheque for £100. The Bank plans to organise fundraising activities throughout the year and aims to raise a further £750 for the charity.
In addition to financial support, the Partnership with TSB will help raise awareness of Friends of the Family’s work in supporting vulnerable children and families across the Winchester district.
Luke Rowntree, Bank Manager at TSB’s Winchester Branch said: “Friends of the Family is a local cause that’s close to people’s hearts here in Winchester and we are delighted to welcome them as our new Local Charity Partner. We can’t wait to build our partnership and support the vital work they do for our local community.”
Welcoming the Partnership, Chair of Trustees Viv Wheeler said: “We are thrilled to have their support and so grateful to everybody who nominated us.”
