Spreading the Cheer as a Christmas Volunteer

15 November 2021

Love it or hate it, it’s that time of year again when the shops start to fill up with a mountain of chocolate and sprouts and the pavements are occupied by singing reindeer and sparkly trees. That’s right it’s Christmas time!

But do you ever wish there was more to the festive season than too much food and terrible TV? Maybe you’ll be on your own and would like to do something a bit different this December?

If so, have you thought about volunteering? It can be a great way to meet meet new people, take part in new activities and to bring a bit of help, support and good cheer to local people and charities.

This year we have some fantastic short term/one off volunteering roles, starting in December and running up to the New Year. They are popular though so don’t leave it too long to register your interest.

There are some local and national roles too if you’re looking for some extra inspiration or something further afield.

As always, we also have our regular volunteering roles, which include working from home and one off events, as well as those that offer more regular involvement. To find out what’s available near you just click here.

Whatever you’re up to this festive season we hope that it’s a good one.
